…I’m literally jumping up and down with joy! why? Yamaha has formally announced the launch of the R1 and the MT-01 in India… two of the best bikes from the yamaha stable are here…!!
the MT-01 is a 1670cc v-twin that produces close to 90bhp, but has a gut wrenching torque of 150 Nm at around 3750 rpm. A kinetic comet on steroids if you will…! with a half front fairing, this should be the perfect long distance tourer…!
The YZF-R1 is perhaps the path breaking of the super sport bikes. Killer looks with equally good performance, the 1000cc engine cranks out 180 bhp and around 112 Nm of torque at around 12,500 rpm - this is the perfect road racer.<
What I like about the situation now is that the other biggies have to bring in the big bikes - which means, my fav 1000RR is on its way to the Indian roads pretty soon.
It’s time to start saving money - fast!!
