Exactly three months back, we set out to achieve the impossible…completing a seven month project in three months…! we made it at last…!! agreed…the three months were nothing less than hell….I’ve lost track of the number of weekends I’ve sat at the office from the morning to the night; I’ve lost track of the late hours I’ve been awake; I’ve lost track of how many times I got called when there was nothing else on my mind other than getting a few hours of sleep. But, in the end what matters is that we’ve kept our end of the bargain. We delievered what we promised. It’s a month of chill-out now, before getting on to the next project.

about the title -

I was wondering about the title for this post, and the answer came right through my ears. The movie ‘Gladiator’ was an epic, a truly amazing movie. I haven’t managed to watch it fully, but in the few bits and pieces I’ve seen (especially at the end), the background music was totally off the charts. Some research led me to Lisa Gerrard, the vocalist on those beautiful background scores. Two of my most favorite scores on this track are Elysium and of course “Now we are Free…”. the beauty of these two pieces is that both of them have the same humming, but Elysium, somehow has a very sad feel to it. “Now we are free” on the other hand sounds so happy. That’s how tonight ends at around 3 in the morning. On a happy note…!
