Today was not supposed to be a normal day after all. I woke up quite early after watching the SL vs NZ match and I was able to make it to work by 10:30. Definitely early by normal standards. That’s when Vamshi dropped the bomb.. there are quite a few interesting developments happening at work. It can have quite an impact on the work we’re doing. We’ll know by the end of the year…!!
that put me off for the whole day today… absolutely no mood to work at all. Hence I decided to leave early today… got out of the office by 6:30 today.
I was nearing home when I had to pass through this unlit road. The lights from the oncoming traffic was blinding, and suddenly I found myself right in front of a cow, at around 40 kph. I was on the road even before I knew it. Got up on my feet and quickly enough knew I was okay except for a few scratches. My left arm was aching, but again, quickly made sure it wasn’t a fracture. Okay..am fine, but what of the bike?
The whole front fairing was damaged, front mudguard gone, left side rearview gone, headlight gone. the speedo console was slightly dislocated, not sure if had taken any damage.
…classic case of the bike taking all the damage…!!
Sheesh…!! we definitely do not deserve any SBK’s. Hell.. 100 cc commuters are too much for this kind of road traffic…!!
the cow threw a backward glance, and ambled away.. as if nothing happened..!
