…my fourth company sitting in the same seat. The brokerage services division of ADP has been spun off effective Apr 1st and the new company has been named Broadridge. What does it mean for us? we’re going back to being a small company again - lots of growth opportunities, interesting times…something for everyone! here’s a photo of the opening at NYSE.

this is the first in a two part write - up on the HX-4 - a biking trip I did towards the end of January in Himachal.j Warning - long read…:) The HX4 trip log Some of my best memories so far have been on my bike. The HX4 was a valuable addition to that list. A six day ride into the interiors of Himachal, pristine surroundings, breathtaking views, un-crowded places, no traffic on the roads…well, could we ask for more? More so, we had our bikes to travel to these places.

Most of my visits to the US have been restricted to the east coast and the mid-west. This time I made it to the west coast - thanks to friends who have settled there. Went around downtown San Francisco…pics from yesterday.

..Sometimes she’d go out on the porch where her mother could see her, to roll a joint And Lorraine would have a smile on her face that made her look a little crazy … As if she had a secret that no one else knew… …I liked watching her… Walking on, one summer night Lorraine said “now its time for you to see the light house” she was out on Montok point

Talk about new year resolutions coming true…! When I typed out ’travel’ on that list I’d put up, little did I know what was in store for me …hell, I’ve been traveling most of the time so far. I have gone to Bangalore for a business visit gone on the HX-4 going to a quick visit to Srisailam tomorrow go on a quick US tour …and that’s just for the first two months of the year…! I’m already beginning to like this year already :)

Without further ado… here’s my travel blog I wanted to start this one when I came back from the fantastic road trip last year through the bandipur sanctuary. Unfortunately that never materialized for a variety of reasons. this blog starts with the HX-4 (Himachal Explorers - 4). A six day bike ride across all of Himachal. head over to my other blog for more info ;-) EDIT (23 Jul 2025): The travel blog has been merged back into the main blog. I’ll be organizing it properly with tags, but that’s somewhere down the line.

So, what are the resolutions for this year gonna be? Well, there’s the pending list from last year… however, the list isn’t too long for this year ;-) get a nice big bike get those certifications moving. Finish them as soon as possible hit the gym more regularly…! learn something new :) (probably why I’m sitting so late trying to get my laptop display the proper resolution on linux) travel 2007 was welcomed from a linux desktop. Have been using vista for a major part of last year - believe it or not, I’ve grown tired of it ;-)

now, why is that we run out of things to say, to talk about? It has been almost a month and a half, but somehow, I’ve never felt like logging in and posting something…really no idea why…!! Anyways…things are going on like they have been. There have been a few interesting developments at work; unfortunately, they cannot be revealed here now…btw, don’t let your mind wander ;-), its just work that’s all!!

dedicated to the traveler in me… Why are we here? What is our purpose? someone said that we are here just to pass our time till we reach the end how do we pass our time? stare at the world with bright, round eyes, doodle on pieces of paper, get educated, do jobs, get married, have children, keep doing jobs and raising children, wait for the end. and even while we wait, somehow we still try to figure why we are here. but for some, there’s more!
